Ancient Wisdom For Today | Ecclesiastes 1
“Everything is meaningless,” says the Teacher, “completely meaningless! What do people get for all their hard work under the sun?” (Eccl. 1:2–3)
Solomon isn’t saying life has no purpose—he’s grabbing our attention. The word “meaningless” really means vapor—life is short, fragile, and temporary or vanity—meaningless or empty.
Life is temporary.
Life is meaningless without God.
So Fear Him. Follow Him. Enjoy the Life He gives.
