The Advantages & Limitations of Wisdom
Wisdom gives you an advantage in life, but its path is slow and difficult.
A good reputation is more valuable than wealth.
Funerals, Sadness & Rebukes are good because they refine our character & perspective.
Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride.
Accept the way God does things…
When life is good—enjoy yourself.
When life is hard—examine yourself and consider what God is doing.
Humanity’s sinfulness reveals the limits of human wisdom, and the limits of human wisdom reveal our need for divine revelation found only in Jesus Christ!
“Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 7:24–25
